MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) – Chinese banks intend to deepen cooperation with Russian banks by providing them with support, China’s Ambassador to Russia Li Hui told Interfax.
Asked about China’s readiness to provide Russian banks with large loans that are currently unavailable from Western banks due to sanctions, Hui said: “I think that we, as before, will be in close cooperation with Russia. We will deepen cooperation, and there will of course be mutual understanding and mutual support between our banks.”
“Chinese and Russian banks began working together a long time ago. Four banks are currently accredited in Moscow, and another bank will be opened,” he said.
